EVFIN Website Privacy Notice

This notice describes the current public website and contact-led enquiry service. The company responsible for this website is EV FIN (PTY) LTD (CIPC registration 2025/110780/07), trading as EVFIN. Business address: 208 Durban Road, Bellville, Western Cape, 7530, South Africa. EVFIN introduces customers interested in vehicles, finance, charging and home-energy options to relevant service providers. EVFIN is not a lender and does not make credit decisions.

How the enquiry process works

When you explore the package options, your vehicle interest, broad budget range, province and optional energy selections are shown on the page. When you choose an external WhatsApp link, a message containing these selections and an EVFIN website referral reference is prepared for the EVFIN business WhatsApp channel. A campaign source may also be included if you arrived through an advertisement.

Opening the WhatsApp link can disclose the prepared message to WhatsApp. You decide whether to send it to EVFIN. A WhatsApp message is sent only if you choose to send it. Optional customer profile saving is a separate function and does not send a finance application to a provider. You may instead email or call EVFIN directly.

What is and is not collected on this website

The EVFIN package selector does not request South African identity numbers, banking credentials, payslips or bank statements. Formal credit applications are handled in a separate hosted finance questionnaire. The separate online quotation-to-CRM submission feature is not active. The website infrastructure may process ordinary technical request and security information necessary to provide the site and troubleshoot errors.

Do not send identification documents or financial statements through the EVFIN website. If a licensed finance provider requires them, first confirm its identity and secure collection method.

Optional EVFIN saved-package profile

Customers can explore packages without an account. If you choose Save & return later, you may request an email sign-in link. Your email address is used to sign in through Supabase Authentication. A private EVFIN customer record stores only your selected package level, vehicle model interest, charger, solar arrangement, inverter, panel and battery preferences, broad budget, province and whether a trade-in is of interest.

Selections are held on this browser/device for up to 30 days unless you clear them. If you explicitly sign in and save your package, they can also be stored securely in the EVFIN database hosted in the United Kingdom and retrieved when you sign in on another device. Each customer can access only their own saved selection. This does not submit a finance application, give credit consent, or transfer any financial questionnaire answers to EVFIN.

To request access, correction or deletion of a saved package or account information, contact EVFIN using the privacy contact below. Account emails and records are retained only for the permitted purpose and applicable retention requirements.

External providers and their notices

Initial contact and finance enquiries open EVFIN's WhatsApp or email channel. If you later consent to a specific referral, a separate finance partner such as SME FIN, dealership or lender may process the relevant information under its own privacy notice and legal obligations. You may voluntarily open an EVFIN Jotform finance questionnaire; the website does not silently submit an application to Jotform or Seriti.

Visiting WhatsApp or another third-party service is subject to that provider's terms, privacy practices and platform technology. Please review those notices before supplying personal or credit information.

EVFIN finance questionnaire on Jotform

When you choose Apply Directly for Finance, an application form hosted by Jotform is loaded on an EVFIN page. It may ask for sensitive identification and financial information. Those answers are entered into Jotform, not captured into EVFIN's own CRM by this website. Jotform and the form's authorised owner will process submitted answers according to their terms, privacy notices and approved business workflow, including SME FIN review before Seriti processing. Review the form's own declarations and consents before submitting.

Your selected vehicle type, broad budget band, province, non-identifying EVFIN draft reference and campaign tags may be held in your current browser tab's session storage for up to 24 hours, solely to display your package while moving between EVFIN pages. This version does not send those selections to Jotform unless its referral fields are separately verified and enabled. We do not store financial form answers, identity numbers or bank details in browser storage.

Marketing links, cookies and hosting

Advertisements may include campaign parameters in the link to this website, and those parameters may be included in a customer-initiated referral message. The current public site does not run an EVFIN-operated marketing-pixel conversion integration. The hosting platform may use necessary security, diagnostic or request logs. The separately protected staff CRM is built on Supabase infrastructure in the United Kingdom; this public contact handoff does not currently submit your information to it.

Your choices and requests

You can close this website without initiating an enquiry, choose not to open a contact link, or edit a prepared WhatsApp message before sending it. To query or correct information you supplied to EVFIN, use the EVFIN contact below. For information later supplied directly to a separate finance partner, contact that provider.

Finance and purchasing

Submitting a message is not a finance application, acceptance of a loan offer or completion of a purchase. Vehicle availability, supplier quotations, finance terms and decisions are subject to the relevant participating business and credit provider. EVFIN does not guarantee credit approval, monthly payments or savings.
